No matter what

if this video is only a promo or not we still have to support it on trl. we have to get it retired on trl and let people know that the fans still have hope for britney. and no this is not her best video nor was it the worst, but it's better than most of the video's out right now. Starting Monday night all fans have to vote for "Gimme More" on TRL, and who knows the video might grow on us.

*I can understand that it’s an uncut version like in Greatest Hits DVD or special version for iTunes but if I watch it on Tv please… KILL ME!!!!!!!!!

*WIKIPEDIA is updated anyone who wants to update it - by uniformed fans desperate to believe this is a promo clip. There is no CITATION for the line that says the video on ITUNES is a PROMO.

Furthermore, People and US MAGAZINE were given exclusive looks at the video yesterday and their descriptions match what is on ITUNES.

I could go onto Wikipedia right now and update the information on GIMME MORE so say that she shot a $2,000,000 dollar video starring Mickey Mouse, Madonna, and Avril Lavigne as her back up dancers, and you guys would quote it as fact.

This is the video. It’s raw and trashy. Other than choosing some great producers to work with and making good music, every other decision she’s made is way out in left field. She refuses to take anyone’s advice from professionals. Get used to it.

Britney Spears will release her first music video in more than two years this coming Monday.

The video – for the song "Gimme More" – will premiere on MTV's TRL at 3:30 p.m. ET., a rep for the network confirms to PEOPLE.

Although details about the final version of it are being kept a secret, Spears, 25, was spotted in costume at a Los Angeles warehouse back in July, reportedly filming a video. Her outfit consisted of a short negru dress, black boots and a black hat.

But it is not for certain that the footage from that special shoot made the final cut that will air on TRL.

In fact, the video will contain footage from two different shoots, sources say.

After an underwhelming performance of the song at the Sept. 9 MTV Video Music Awards, and the ongoing bitter custody battle with ex Kevin Federline playing out in the media, rooting fans will be watching for the singer to make a big splash with the new video.

And, in spite of her travails, Spears has good news from Billboard's Hot 100 chart this week, where "Gimme More" soared from the No. 68 position last week to No. 3. (It also continues to be the most downloaded song on iTunes.)

A rep for Spears's record label tells PEOPLE: "Jive is enormously excited about Britney's new album. We're confident that it will secure her reputation as one of the great recording artists of her time." The album is set for release Nov. 13.
